Anatomy through a clinical lens
ANATOMY EDUCATION & CLINICAL PRACTICE
I lead and coordinate anatomy teaching across healthcare programmes at London South Bank University, with a particular focus on clinically applied and imaging anatomy.
Alongside my academic role, I practise as an NHS MSK sonographer. That clinical work directly informs how I teach anatomy — linking structure, imaging, examination and pathology rather than treating anatomy as an isolated subject.
My wider teaching includes practical anatomy using human dissection and prosected material, as well as live ultrasound anatomy within medical education.
Professional activities
Face-to-face and online ultrasound mentoring focused on scanning technique, image interpretation, case discussion and applied anatomy.
Supporting universities, healthcare organisations and industry with anatomy education, curriculum development, imaging, musculoskeletal ultrasound education and collaborative projects.
Invited lectures, conference sessions and practical workshops in clinical and imaging anatomy, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and anatomy education.
